As a family, we felt very privileged to be a part of Magna Carta Primary Academy from the very first day.  What a wonderful opportunity for our children to attend a brand new school, to see it grow and develop from that first, small group of 19 families back in 2016, to an already flourishing community only a couple of years later.

I was delighted to get the chance to contribute to the growth and development of the school in a more formal capacity when I was nominated as one of the Parent Governors.  Working on creating an environment that will open up opportunities to each of our pupils is highly rewarding.

Not coming from a background in education, I hope to bring a different perspective to the school leadership team.  As a Head of Marketing, there are skills and experiences that I can bring from the world of business to contribute to the management of the school.  I have experience in general business management as well as specific marketing disciplines which I hope will help with communication, community outreach and promoting the school and the benefits it offers its pupils.  It is highly rewarding to see our pupils flourish in what really is a wonderful school environment and I am proud to be able to play a small part towards that.
