✏ Year 4 conducted their research into the life of Sir David Attenborough, as part of their History work. 📂 They were given the task of independently researching Sir David to produce a fact file.

🎾 Year 3 and 4 took to the courts in a primary aged competition. 🥉 Both teams played well and showed good team spirit. Team A managed to come 3rd place. Well done to all who took part.

🏰 Year 6 visited Mountfitchet Castle to further their studies about the Normans. 👑 As part of their topic, pupils explored the historic site and brought their learning to life.

🏛 ⚔ Year 4 visited Colchester Castle, where they were given the opportunity to explore and discover more about the Roman period of History.

🏑 Our hockey club took part in the Uttlesford Hockey Tournament at Joyce Franklin Academy. 🏆 Members of the team showed solid skills in stopping the opponent's attacks, making some key tackles and clearing the ball from our half with precision.

💃 Our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils had an amazing time at a dance festival last week. ⭐️ Their energy and creativity were truly inspiring. We couldn’t be prouder of their performances!

🦁 Pupils took part in a workshop based on the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to support their learning and understanding of the book. 🎭 They took turns acting out parts of the novel and placing themselves in the shoes of various characters.

🥞 Our fantastic Year 6 students took the lead yesterday, spreading smiles and serving up delicious pancakes to all our pupils in celebration of Schrove Tuesday!

🎩 In History, Year 1 pupils have been learning all about Isambard Kingdom Brunel. 👷 They were inspired by his engineering work on the Clifton Suspension Bridge and they designed their own out of Lego!

🐻 Forest School club went on a bear hunt! 🪵The children worked in small groups to collect materials for a den for their bear. 🛖 They then constructed the den, adding interesting features and then tested out their den prototypes.
