We must always challenge gender stereotypes. They are limiting, unfair and wrong. https://t.co/TnYpMTW3pC

This is why we teach to the top and will never group children by perceived ability. Who are we to judge what another person is capable of? A person doesn’t know what they themselves are capable of so how can anyone else? https://t.co/f0rRP5aVw0

Who was the person who believed in you? Who was the person who encouraged you? Who was the person who recognised your potential? Who was the person who listened? Go and be that person to others.

Job Vacancies for Pupils

'I never dreamed about success, I worked for it.' Estee Lauder

Our curriculum is not just about what happens during lessons. It is everything we do and everything we say. It is also found in the experiences we give our pupils. One of our four drivers is to promote enterprise and aspiration. Therefore, as well as making links between our formal curriculum and the world of work, we also give our pupils opportunities to experience that world.

Currently, we are advertising for pupils to work as Lunchtime Supervisors. Click on the tab below to read the job description and if your child meets the person specification and has the necessary skills, they are welcome to apply. Application forms are on our new JobCentrePlus display in the hall, or can be downloaded from the tab below. As new vacancies are added, they will be added to this page as well as the JobCentrePlus notice board.

The purpose of these jobs is for our pupils to experience writing an application, having an interview (as well as to know how it feels not to be selected for interview), and of course, to have a sense of pride in themselves for a job well done.

We will not (and cannot) pay children in money, however, they will earn one Dojo for Enterprise for each successful shift and depending on the job, they will receive a book as their reward for completing a certain number of shifts.
