Extracurricular Music

We currently offer peripatetic singing and keyboard tuition to small groups. Sessions are paid for by parents, directly to the tutors. If you would like your child to join these groups, please contact reception@magnacartacademy.org for the tutors' contact details.

In singing lessons, the students learn basic singing technique, a range of repertoire to suit their age and voices,  and musicianship skills. We play music games, following the Kodály method, which teaches music through song and fun!

Keyboard lessons develop piano-playing skills, keyboard techniques, music reading and improvisation skills, all taught through a variety of fun activities and tunes that the children really enjoy playing.
