Ms Carly Gregory
Working at Magna Carta as catering manager is not all about cooking and washing up. I have got to know each and every pupil, their likes and dislikes, and enjoy every day I'm at work. My love for cooking drove me to find a school job when my youngest started full time school, so I didn't have to worry about childcare and school holidays. This was at Forest Hall School. While working in the kitchen, we were tasked with supplying food to Magna Carta before the new school building was ready. Even then, I felt I had made a special bond with the very first class, making sure they were all fed each day and had food they enjoyed. When the opportunity came to work at the newly opened school, I couldn't turn it down. Watching the school and the children grow is such a wonderful thing and honestly, working here, I feel like I am growing with them. Never did I imagine managing a kitchen, and without the help of the whole Magna Carta team, I'm sure I would not have this much job satisfaction.
